A film about the experiential art of listening. Dallas Simpson improvises aural walks in the forest, in the city, or on the sea shore, recording sound with the method called "binaural stereo." The binaural recording technique is unique in that by sticking two tiny high-tech microphones in each ear, a fair representation of human three-dimensional perception of sound may be achieved. Through using sophisticated modern technology, Dallas Simpson engages in something he considers a spiritual act - the perception of the soundspace and the performance, which is the physical communion with the environment.
